Mutual Accountability and Validation Dialog: Integrated Collaborative (Physical & Digital)
Experimentation Focus Group,
Tuesday July 30 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in Academy Ballroom 404
Validation Experiments play an important role in supporting CFD validation. It has now been over 30 years
since the concept of a specific type of experiment was originally proposed for this purpose. During this
time, considerable experience has been accumulated in their planning and conduct. This panel session will
bring together specialists from the CFD and wind tunnel testing communities to review their experiences
and the lessons learned for future endeavors. This panel session has been convened by the Integrated
Collaborative (Physical & Digital) Experimentation Focus Group as part of an activity to accelerate the
progress made towards realizing the NASA CFD 20303 Vision for CFD validation.
Panelists: Steve Beresh, Christopher Roy, Flint Thomas
